Field Trips
The Apprenticeshop makes for an interesting field trip destination for students of all ages. We encourage educators to arrange visits to the Shop throughout the year. All it takes is a phone call and a coordination of calendars!
Field trips to the Shop are a great way to spark interest in craft and maritime history, and often lead to further participation in our other youth programs. If you are interested in setting up a field trip, please call us at 207-594-1800 or e-mail us at info@apprenticeshop.org.
Each year, we work with teachers, councilors, administrators and parents to fill the needs of students who would not otherwise learn hands-on skills. If you are interested in enrolling a student in one of our workshops or programs, or would like to contact us about beginning your own, we are always interested to hear ideas. We frequently work with group leaders to design courses suited to their students.
