By becoming a member of our Business Community at any level, you provide critical support to our programming.
Since 1972, The Apprenticeshop has offered hands-on programs dedicated to inspiring personal growth through craftsmanship, community and traditions of the sea. Traditional boatbuilding and seamanship are the tools used to encourage youth and adults to challenge themselves. Our programs, in the Shop and on the waterfront, are based on experiential educaiton: a teaching philosophy encouraging both thought and action — not one or the other, but both at once.
Community, the third tenet of our program, keeps the craftsmanship and seamanship skills alive. By becoming a member of our Business Community at any level, you provide critical support to our programming.
