By becoming a member of our Business Community at any level, you provide critical support to our programming.

Since 1972, The Apprenticeshop has offered hands-on programs dedicated to inspiring personal growth through craftsmanship, community and traditions of the sea. Traditional boatbuilding and seamanship are the tools used to encourage youth and adults to challenge themselves. Our programs, in the Shop and on the waterfront, are based on experiential education: a teaching philosophy encouraging both thought and action — not one or the other, but both at once.

Community, the third tenet of our program, keeps the craftsmanship and seamanship skills alive. By becoming a member of our Business Community at any level, you provide critical support to our programming.

2011 Sponsorship Opportunities:

Business Sponsor                                $175

  • your logo on our lobby Business Community Board
  • your logo on our website sponsorship page with link to your website
  • acknowledgement in our annual report
  • the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference in the lives of all our students

Event Sponsor                                      $500

All benefits of Business Sponsor, plus

  • your logo on all promotional print material, on our website and in our monthly e-newsletter with link to your website
  • opportunity to hang your business’s banner/other signage & materials at the event
  • public, spoken acknowledgement of sponsorship at the event
  • your sponsorship acknowledged in all press releases and your logo included on any paid advertising
