Rockland Community Sailing 2012 Schedule

We are pleased to offer Youth Sailing Programs for the spring, summer and fall.  Unless otherwise noted, our youth community sailing programs are open to students age 8 through 18. Opti SailingSpring After School Sailing
For students in grades 4 through 8; all skill levels are invited to participate. We meet Monday & Wednesday afternoons, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., for five weeks. Dates for Spring 2012 are  April 30 through June 4. Fee is $150.00. Scholarships are available.

Spring High School Sailing Team
For students in grades 7 through 12; all skill levels are encouraged to participate. We meet Tuesday & Thursday afternoons; 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., for six weeks.  Spring 2012 High School sailing runs April 10 through May 17. Fee is $175.00. Scholarships are available.

2012 Summer Youth Sailing Lessons
For all students ages 8 through 18. Fee: $280.00 per session.

Session 1     June 25 – June 28  (1 week; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels)
Session 2    July 2 – July 13     (2 weeks; Mornings – 9:00 a.m. to Noon; Beginners) – No class 7/4
Session 3    July 2 – July 13     (2 weeks; Afternoons – 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.; Intermediates) – No class 7/4
Session 4    July 16-20            (1 week; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels)
Session 5    July 23 – Aug 3     (2 weeks; Mornings – 9:00 a.m. to Noon; Beginners)
Session 6    July 23 – Aug 3     (2 weeks; Afternoons – 1:00  to 4:00 p.m.; Intermediates)
Session 7   August 6 – 9          (1 week; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels)
Session 8   August 13 – 17      (1 week; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels)
Session 9   August 20 – 24      (1 week; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All skill levels)

Fall After School Sailing420 Sailing
For students in grades 4 through 8; all skill levels are invited to participate. We meet Monday & Wednesday afternoons, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., for five weeks.  Dates for Fall 2012 are: September 10 through October 12 (No class Oct 8; last class Friday, Oct 12). Fee is $150.00. Scholarships are available.

Fall High School Sailing Team
For students in grades 7 through 12; all skill levels are encouraged to participate. We meet Tuesday & Thursday afternoons; 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., for six weeks. Dates for Fall 2012 are: September 11 through October 18. Fee is $175.00. Scholarships are available.

Parents of Sailors – We Need You!
Youth sailing programs thrive on parent involvement. Parents help by driving sailors to inter-club events, sharing food and beverages during awards parties, taking photos, working on fleet boats and gear, and assisting in numerous other ways. Your help supports our efforts to improve and grow The Apprenticeshop sailing programs. Volunteering is a great way to enhance your sailor’s experience, meet other sailing parents, and be part of our growing community.
