The Apprenticeshop invites rowers to our annual Short Ships Rowing Regatta! The event is open to teams or single rowers; skiffs, shells or any other rowing or paddle vessel less than 100 feet in overall length is permitted. The course is set in Rockland Harbor and the event has a strong focus on sportsmanship and fun!

The 2026 event has a 3 mile race event for all vessels; new this year is a one mile course for Susan Skiffs. Following lunch and morning event awards will be a single oar stern sculling tournament on our Carney 8 Prams in the afternoon.

This event is FREE to register! Pre registration online is highly encouraged but rowers may register in person on the day of the event.

Participants must bring their own vessel for both the 3 mile or 1 mile race. Please refer to the official Notice Of Race for more details, regulations and event schedule.
