Free Friday Community Sailing at the Apprenticeshop is an opportunity for any and everyone to get out on the water and go sailing! We invite the public down to our waterfront campus to get on board one of our ‘Shop-built boats at the most beautiful time of day. Space is limited and available on a first-come first served basis. Community sails are always free and there is no pre-registration, just come down to the waterfront and sign up! Our volunteer skippers and crew will lead you on a fun exploration of Rockland Harbor; no sail is ever the same! Try your hand at trimming the sails or just sit back and take in the sunset and lapping waves.

All ages welcome, youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring sunscreen, a warm layer, snacks and drinks are also welcome (no alcohol please!). Youth and adult universal life jackets are provided by the Apprenticeshop and are required to participate. Please bring your own infant lifejacket if you are bringing a small child.  Please leave dogs at home.
